Assurance Workflow

How a migration plan moves through AssurePlan from import to export.

Workflow Stages

AssurePlan is organized around a controlled project assurance workflow.

  1. Import the latest plan export.
  2. Complete missing plan context in the editable workspace.
  3. Run an assurance scan against deterministic migration rules.
  4. Review risks, PM actions, data blockers, and evidence.
  5. Compare what-if options when a plan needs a controlled recovery path.
  6. Regenerate the report preview from the latest reviewed state.
  7. Export the Steering Committee Brief and updated plan.

Why The Stages Matter

Each stage protects the next one. Plan edits make downstream scan, what-if, and report outputs stale. A new scan makes older report previews stale. Saving a what-if recommendation requires the report preview to be regenerated before export.

This keeps the product simple for users while preventing stale or unsupported output from becoming a formal deliverable.

PM Review Loop

Findings are not automatically promoted into a report. A PM can mark findings as accepted, needing input, or dismissed. Data blockers remain excluded from formal report inclusion until the underlying data issue is corrected.
